The Buddy Walk this year was COLD but still fun. All of Brian's family came up from Utah and made an event out of it. The kids had a ball playing together, and especially swimming at the hotel after the Buddy Walk! Jake borrowed a floaty and just loved splashing his dad! He was laughing and having a great time. Kennedy swam around with Emily (those two chatted non-stop from first hug to good-bye).

Every once in a while Jake would come to the edge of the pool to wave to mom and laugh about all his splashing.

I think the grandparents have told everyone by now, but Jake is the new "poster boy" for the Treasure Valley Down Syndrome Association brochure. It's an informational pamphlet given out at local hospitals, along with a bunch of other good info., to parents who have a child with Down syndrome. We feel so grateful to live in a place with such a good support group for our family. And of course, we're grateful for all our family down in Utah.
